The programme aims to develop students’ knowledge and skills of disciplines that focus on technology creation and their links to those that enable its conversion to wealth, thus enabling business to gain competitive advantage through their technology. The graduates will be able to think business both from technological and managerial perspective and capable of taking various job opportunities as executives or officers in technology-based manufacturing and service industries.

Entry Requirements

University General Requirements

• Passed Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)/Equivalent with a Credit in Bahasa Melayu/Bahasa
Malaysia or a Credit in Bahasa Melayu/Bahasa Malaysia July Paper
• Possessed a Diploma or other qualification which is recognized by the Government of
Malaysia and approved by the University Senate

 

Programme Requirements

  • • Fulfils University General Requirements
    • Obtained at least Credit (Grade C) in Mathematics at SPM level
    • Obtained at least Pass (Grade E) in English at SPM level
    • Candidate is not physically disabled which could hinder practical works

  • • Fulfill University General Requirements

    • Possessed Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with at least a Jayyid Jiddan Rank

    • Obtained at least Credit (Grade C) in Mathematics at SPM level

    • Obtained at least Pass (Grade E) in English at SPM level

    • Candidate is not physically disabled which could hinder practical works

  • • Passed Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)/Equivalent with a Credit in Bahasa Melayu/Bahasa

    Malaysia

    • Credit in Bahasa Melayu/Bahasa Malaysia July Paper

    • Passed Malaysian Higher School Certificate (STPM) with at least a CGPA of 2.00 and

    obtained at least:

        o Grade C (Subject Grade Point 2.00) in General Studies subject; and

        o Grade C (Subject Grade Point 2.00) in any two (2) other subjects

    • Obtained at least Credit (Grade C) in Mathematics at SPM level

    • Obtained at least Pass (Grade E) in English at SPM level

    • Candidate is not physically disabled which could hinder practical works

  • • Posesses a Diploma in relevant field from Public Institution of Higher Learning (IPTA)

    with at least a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.50; or

    • Posseses a Diploma in relevant field from Private Institution of Higher Learning (IPTS) /

    Polytechnic / equivalent and endorsed by the University Senate with at least a

    Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.00; or

    • Candidate who does not fulfill the requirement of CGPA above but obtained at least a

    CGPA 2.30 and possesses working experience of at least 2 years in relevant field will be

    taken into consideration; and

    • Candidate is not physically disabled which could hinder practical works

  • • Obtained at least Band 1 in Malaysian University English Test (MUET)
